1967-72 Corvette Tank Sheet /Corvette order copy is a factory document that was generated at the factory for the assembly line, these were started in 1967 and went thru to 1972. The form would have the type of car coupe or convertible, dealer code and zone, exterior and interior color, list of options to be installed on car, type of engine /horsepower, type of transmission, rear axle ratio, it would have handwritten numbers in pencil which related to serial number, it would have groups of typed ECL numbers and letters that would correspondingly show up on window sticker and shipper copy. It had ordering dates as well as date produced.

This document was glued to the top of the gas tank for the assembly workers reference the car was receiving the correct components/options installed.... understand the chassis was coming down the assembly line, and the body was lowered much later down the process, therefore the tank sheet was clearly visible for the workers..... glued to the top of the gas tank.
